Job summary

A leading freight transportation company is seeking P&D Drivers for their upcoming Smithton, PA Service Center. You will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently. Successful candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 18 months of commercial driving experience. The company offers competitive pay of $35.50 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• At least 23 years of age.
• At least 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI or reckless operation citations in the past 3 years.
• Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload freight in a safe manner.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections.
• Document all freight control processes.
• Safely operate a forklift when needed.
• Participate in training and improvement programs.
