$1,600 Average Weekly Pay | Home Daily | Monday–Friday Nights | $500 New Hire Bonus

Looking for a local CDL-A driving job in Kansas City, MO with consistent weekly earnings and daily home time? We are hiring experienced CDL-A company drivers for a local overnight position operating within approximately 250 miles of Kansas City.

Drivers average approximately $1,600 per week / $83,200 annually with mileage, stop and load-hour pay.

PAY & COMPENSATION

• $1,600 average weekly pay
• Approximately $83,200 annual earnings
• New hire mileage rate: $0.44 CPM
• After 12 months: $0.45 CPM
• New hire stop pay: $15.80 per stop
• After 12 months: $16.27 per stop
• Load-hour pay: $25.00/hour
• After 12 months: $25.75/hour
• $500 new-hire transition bonus paid on the second paycheck

HOME DAILY SCHEDULE

• Home daily
• Monday through Friday nights
• Approximately 10:00 PM–10:00 AM
• Home from approximately Saturday morning through Monday night
• Overnight driving required
• Drivers may occasionally need to utilize their full 14-hour clock

LOCAL ROUTES

• Local operation within approximately 250 miles of Kansas City
• Approximately 260 miles per day
• Approximately 1,300 miles per week
• Consistent overnight operation

FREIGHT & DRIVER DUTIES

This is a 100% touch-freight position.

Drivers are responsible for:

• Hand loading and unloading parts and equipment
• Handling freight weighing approximately 40–75 lbs
• Daily dock work
• Using pallet jacks
• Forklift operation when applicable

Forklift certification is preferred; training may be available.

EQUIPMENT

• 53' tractor-trailer
• Drivers may occasionally operate a straight truck or sprinter van when filling in
• Equipment remains onsite during time off
• Secure onsite parking

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months recent tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within approximately 50 miles of Kansas City, MO
• Must be comfortable with 100% touch freight
• Must be able to regularly handle freight weighing 40–75 lbs
• Must be available for overnight shifts
• Must be comfortable performing daily dock work
• No pets or passengers
