Job summary

Gordon Food Service in West Hartford, CT is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver responsible for delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day.

You’ll unload cases up to 100 lbs and use a ramp and two-wheeler during your shift. We value safety and reliability; candidates must be 21+, hold a CDL A, and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL A license required at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds during shift.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT and company standards.
• Must be registered in DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals and others.
• Build relationships with customers while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and operate a ramp and two-wheeler as part of the shift.
• Home daily with day shifts and local routes.
