Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a CDL A Local Driver in Toledo, OH. This local, home-daily role offers $25.00-$29.00 per hour with a possible raise to $28.00-$29.00 after hire. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM with occasional Saturday shifts.

You will shuttle automotive parts between a distribution center and nearby facilities, complete 8–12 local runs per shift, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and back trailers in tight spaces while complying with DOT safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at‑fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Experience operating a Day Cab Tractor with 53 Dry Van Trailers preferred
• Strong backing and trailer maneuvering skills required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Ability to climb in and out of tractor and perform trailer inspections
• No regular lifting requirements

Responsibilities

• Shuttle automotive components and materials between local facilities
• Operate a Day Cab Tractor with automatic transmission and 53 dry van trailers
• Complete approximately 8-12 dedicated local runs per shift
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safely back, maneuver, and position trailers in manufacturing and distribution environments
• Maintain communication with dispatch and facility personnel
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
