Job summary

ABF Freight, a leading less-than-truckload carrier, seeks a skilled driver for local pickup and delivery duties near our distribution centers. You will load and unload trailers using standard dock methods and adapt to schedule variations by terminal location.

The role requires 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training may be available), a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and a valid DOT/medical screening.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience or eligible for training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a good stable work record.
• Possess a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements.

Requirements

Experience:

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).

Certifications

• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.

• Good stable work record.

• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).

• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.

• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.
