Job summary

Sysco in Morrisville, NC is seeking CDL-B delivery drivers to operate daily routes. Earn an average $65,000 with potential to reach $78,000+ based on performance.

You will load and unload orders at each stop, maintain safety standards, and provide excellent customer service while delivering to local customers in the Raleigh area. This is a full-time, home-daily position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent.
• One-year route delivery experience.
• Valid CDL Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway signs and signals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, to designated storage areas.
• Frequently lift 1–75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets and hand cart items.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain signatures; address discrepancies with management.
• Communicate all errors/returns.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
