Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for Hopwood/Uniontown PA area. You will deliver food products to customers, build relationships, and stay local to be home every day. Start times are early and routes are local; you’ll unload up to 100 lbs with a ramp and two-wheeler, with safety and efficiency as priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL at hire.
• Able to unload cases up to 100 lbs.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, including restaurants, schools and hospitals.
• Build relationships with customers during daily routes.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using ramp and two-wheeler.
• Work day shifts on local routes and be home daily.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location

Hopwood/Uniontown PA.

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Start time 3 AM - 5 AM until work until the route is finished.

Pay

Drivers average $70K - $100 K /year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1100 /week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
