Wooster Motor Ways is seeking a dependable Company Driver for local pneumatic routes. You’ll operate Class A tractors on regional lanes with home daily time, a team-focused environment, and a transparent pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers.

Local pneumatic drivers earn an average of $1,300–$1,600 per week. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and HazMat certification support. Join a company that values safety and reliability.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred, not required.
• Must pass and maintain DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and punctual with good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; manage hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as required.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation; plan routes to meet windows.
• Complete paperwork accurately and support routine vehicle maintenance.

Pneumatic Drivers – Local

• Freight Type: Powdered cement
• Local Routes: Home daily | Average pay $1,300–$1,600 per week
• Benefits: Daily or weekend home time depending on route, stable freight, and professional work environment
• Starting Compensation: 25% of Line Haul
• 90 day Increase to: 28% of Line Haul

Equipment

Our International LT trucks come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver’s seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) for your comfort on the road.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL — required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• TWIC card preferred not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
