Wooster Motor Ways is hiring a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight across our regional lanes. Operate Class A tractors, perform pre-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. We offer steady miles, a supportive team, and a clear pay structure that starts at 25% of line haul and increases to 28% after 90 days. Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• HazMat endorsement preferred, not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass and maintain DOT/FMCSA physicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractors to transport freight and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat handling rules.
• Maintain HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, ensure paperwork is complete.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup/delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean.

Pneumatic Drivers – Local

• Freight Type: Powdered cement
• Local Routes: Home daily | Average pay $1,300–$1,600 per week
• Benefits: Daily or weekend home time depending on route, stable freight, and professional work environment
• Starting Compensation: 25% of Line Haul
• 90 day Increase to: 28% of Line Haul

Equipment

What You'll Do

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL — required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• TWIC card preferred not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
