Staffmark Group is hiring a CDL-A Line Haul Driver (Doubles) in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves operating a Class A tractor-trailer pulling doubles, completing meet-and-swap routes, and ensuring safe, on-time delivery while adhering to DOT regulations.

The position requires a valid CDL-A, a current Doubles endorsement, 1 year of doubles hauling experience, and a DOT Medical Card. ELD experience and a clean driving record are preferred. Early morning shifts with weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Current Doubles/Triples (T) endorsement required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable doubles hauling experience within the last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Experience with ELDs, DOT regulations, and hours-of-service compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer pulling doubles/pup trailers.
• Complete scheduled meet-and-swap line haul routes.
• Transport loaded and empty trailers between terminals and designated exchange locations.
• Safely couple and uncouple doubles trailers and converter dollies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Communicate route updates, delays, and equipment concerns to dispatch.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT requirements.
• Return to the home terminal at the end of each shift.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour

Schedule: Early Morning Shift - Approximately 4:00 AM Start. Scheduled days to be confirmed.

What You'll Do

• Experience operating doubles/pup trailers in freight or parcel distribution environments is a plus.

Driving Requirements

• Clean driving record with no more than a combined 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 36 months.
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and driver qualification requirements.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Available for early morning start times and seasonal scheduling.
• Commitment to safe and professional operation of commercial vehicles at all times.
