Job summary

Apex Landscaping, founded in 1991, is seeking a Driver (CDL Class A) to safely transport landscape materials, equipment, and finished goods to customer sites in the Hawthorn Woods, IL area. You will ensure deliveries are timely, compliant with DOT regulations, and uphold exceptional customer service during client interactions.

The role requires a valid CDL-Class A, DOT Medical Card, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-Class A license required.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass required DOT background screenings and drug testing.
• Willingness to operate loading equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer and comply with all federal/state/local regulations.
• Transport materials, equipment, and finished goods to customer sites.
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Load/unload materials safely and verify shipment accuracy.
• Maintain delivery records and report discrepancies to management.
