DHT Group is seeking experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for its Port Huron, MI operation specializing in 160,000 lb Jumbo propane transports. You will operate heavy tanker equipment and work with a professional dispatch team.

Qualified drivers bring at least 1 year of CDL-A experience, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and a commitment to safety. Regional Michigan routes and plenty of earnings potential await.

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers in the Port Huron, Michigan area for our specialized 160,000 lb. multi-axle Jumbo propane transport operation.

These aren't ordinary tanker transports. And this isn't an ordinary tanker driving opportunity.

We're looking for professional drivers with the experience, judgment, and commitment to safety required to operate specialized heavy transport equipment.

Compensation — Get Paid for Specialized Work

• $1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings
• $0.70–$0.75 CPM, based on experience
• Additional per-gallon pumping compensation

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate specialized Jumbo propane transport equipment
• Transport propane (UN1075) throughout assigned regional operating areas
• Safely load and unload propane using pumping equipment
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD records and shipping documentation
• Inspect and properly operate hoses, valves, fittings, placards, and required safety equipment
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Represent DHT professionally at loading facilities and customer locations

Driver Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required (H/N or X)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience required
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to safely operate specialized heavy transport equipment and tanker pumping systems
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Strong commitment to safe, professional driving practices

Previous propane, LPG, or Jumbo transport experience is preferred but not required.

Drivers with experience hauling anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid and gas products are encouraged to apply.
