Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for intermodal hauling of freight containers in the Northeast region. You will operate company-owned chassis and handle predominantly no-touch and drop-and-hook freight, navigating railyards across CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI and VT.

Orientation is paid, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and a lucrative sign-on bonus paid over the first year. 6 paid holidays and PTO after six months are also offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Worcester, MA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

• 90% no-touch freight that is 75% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI and VT.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications
