Job summary

Schneider Intermodal is seeking qualified drivers to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. Expect 100% no-touch freight with 90% drop-and-hook and duties near railyards across IN, KY, MI and OH.

Eligible applicants hold a valid Class A CDL, with tanker and HazMat endorsements strongly preferred. Residence within 75 miles of Cincinnati, OH is required, with paid orientation and benefits included.

Average pay: $1,290-$1,580 weekly

Home time: Multiple Times Per Week

Experience: 3 months or greater CDL experience

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.

• 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within IN, KY, MI and OH.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.

• Live within 75 miles of Cincinnati, OH, Columbus, OH, Marion, OH, North Baltimore, OH, Seville, OH or Woodhaven, MI.

• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
