Accent IT is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for a position based in Avenel, NJ. The role offers daily home time, no-touch freight, and a choice of day or night shifts on a local intermodal account.

Paid weekly with a listed range and additional per-load pay, this position emphasizes reliable attendance and a clean driving record. Chassis are rented through the rail provider and shifts run Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday as needed.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• No-touch freight experience preferred.
• Intermodal/container operations experience is a plus.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card needed.

CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Avenel, NJ

Earn competitive weekly pay hauling intermodal containers on a local account based in the Avenel, New Jersey area. This position offers daily home time, no-touch freight, and day or night shift opportunities for experienced Class A CDL drivers.

Pay Details

• Listed Weekly Pay Range: $1,300–$1,500
• Mileage pay
• $55 per revenue load
• Additional listed pay: $27.50

Job Details

• Local intermodal container operations
• Freight is no-touch
• Mix of drop-and-hook, live loading, live unloading, and preloaded containers
• Chassis are rented from the rail provider and are not company-owned

Shift Details

• Home daily
• Choose from day or night shifts
• 2 positions: Tuesday–Saturday
• 2 positions: Sunday–Thursday
• Work holidays as required

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Experienced, first-seat drivers only
• Clean driving record
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Ability to work the assigned schedule, including holidays
