Job summary

United Petroleum Transports is actively seeking CDL-A Independent Contractors for our Abilene, TX terminal to haul tanker freight across the country. Local home daily options and a $2,000 Welcome Aboard Bonus accompany a comprehensive compensation package.

Applicants must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a valid CDL-A, a clean MVR, and be willing to pass urine and hair follicle drug tests. Military driving experience will be considered in accordance with DD214 and supporting documents.

Qualifications

• Hazmat and tanker endorsement required
• 6 months tanker experience (Class A) within past 2 years or 1 year Class A tractor-trailer in past 3 years
• Military driving experience considered per DD214 and MOS/CO recommendation
• Must pass urine and hair follicle drug tests
• Minimum age 22
• No SAP program members or graduates

Responsibilities

• Operate as an Independent Contractor hauling freight to keep supplies moving nationwide
• Adhere to CDL-A and DOT regulations
• Maintain a clean driving record and pass required tests

We are currently searching for Independent Contractor for our terminal in Abilene, TX!

Requirements:

• Minimum 22 Years of Age
• Hazmat and Tanker Required
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• 6 months of verifiable Class A tanker experience within the past 2 years, OR 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• All Military service driving experience will be considered, in accordance with DD214 and accompanied by the MOS record sheet or a letter of recommendation by the Commanding Officer.
• Must be able to pass Urine AND Hair Follicle Test
• No SAP Program members or graduates
