Job summary

Reddy Ice in Clinton, OK is seeking a professional delivery driver to operate a tractor trailer and deliver ice to customers and company locations. You will cover a specified geographic market or route, with overnight stays possible, and you must maintain a safe, clean truck and complete paperwork.

This role requires a Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and 2 years of long-haul experience, plus 1 year driving a similar vehicle.

Qualifications

Must have basic math skills.
Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of long-haul (over-the-road) experience with a commercial vehicle.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a clean commercial motor vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
Perform pre/post trip inspections and comply with state/federal hours of service requirements; carry a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
Unload and deliver ice to customers and company locations using a safe, courteous, and service-oriented method.
Produce invoices for each delivery and complete all required paperwork.
Manage inventory and condition of driver tools including handhelds, printers, handcarts, and pallet jacks.
Report all accidents and injuries promptly and to the supervisor as required.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and maintain a strong team-player approach.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics and maintain high safety standards.
