Job summary

Gray & Son Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Lowboy Truck Driver to operate a truck and trailer for transporting construction equipment and materials to various sites. You will load, secure, and unload equipment, maintain logs, and follow safety protocols.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and the ability to pass a DOT physical, with a clean driving record. Endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker) are a plus but not required. Training and mornings huddles are part of the routine.

Responsibilities

• Operate lowboy truck and trailer for transporting construction equipment and materials.
• Load and unload equipment onto trailer as needed.
• Maintain radio/phone contact and follow dispatch instructions.
• Keep truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and routine servicing.
• Ensure safe transportation of oversized loads to construction sites.
• Assist foremen during toolbox talks and morning huddles.
• Other duties as assigned.
