Job summary

R.J. Corman Railroad Services is seeking a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer for Meadowlands, PA. You will transport, operate, and service heavy equipment used in clearing railroad derailments and perform material handling and site setup as part of a dedicated crew.

The role requires valid CDL-A with manual endorsement, DOT medical card, ability to work on call and travel, and strict adherence to safety and DOT regulations. Overtime opportunities and company-provided PPE are available.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-A with no restrictions and manual endorsement.
• DOT medical card required.
• Ability to pass background, drug screen, and physical capacity tests.
• Willingness to travel and work on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, operating, and servicing heavy equipment used in clearing railroad derailments.
• Material handling of heavy steel chains, blocks, and cables.
• Practice safe working habits and wear proper PPE at all times.
• Safely drive, operate, and maintain CDL-A vehicles and equipment.
• Maintenance, cleaning, and setup of equipment using assorted tools.
