DHT Group is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Propane & Butane Division serving the Chicago, Illinois region. You will transport propane and butane regionally with weekly home time and competitive earnings.

Qualified drivers have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 1–2 years of CDL-A experience, and a safe driving record. This is a regional position with direct deposit and full benefits. Join us for strong earning potential and professional support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat endorsement required prior to hire.
• Tanker endorsement required prior to hire; combined X accepted.
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075).
• Deliver throughout Illinois and surrounding regional service areas.
• Load product from regional terminals (Morris, Lemont, Channahon).
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation.
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, PPE.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, customer, and company safety requirements.
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations.
