Job summary

Small Potato Trucking is seeking drivers for a rescue lane assignment. Selected drivers will lend help when there are not enough drivers to pull the lane. Pay is $40.00 per hour straight, with 50 hours per week guaranteed.

Freight is a mixture of no-touch, driver assist and tarping. Drivers should have Hazmat endorsement; we can help if needed. Forklift use is required or training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug test.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents/violations in 3 years.
• Verifiable trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old with CDL-A and current DOT medical card.
• Hazmat endorsement required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lend help on a rescue lane when driver availability is short.
• Operate freight handling tasks including tarping as needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT rules.
