Life Couriers is hiring a CDL Hazmat Driver to ensure time-critical diagnostics and therapies are delivered on schedule and in proper condition. You will load products onto vans, follow predetermined routes, and maintain professionalism throughout each delivery.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, routine vehicle inspections, accurate paperwork, and exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a CDL with Hazmat, DOT medical card, and willingness to adapt to a flexible

Responsabilités

• Comply with ICC and FMSCA regulations daily.
• Transport freight from distribution to delivery site without error.
• Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations.
• Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers per DOT/TC regulations.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips.
• Load/unload freight with safety perimeters.
• Secure cargo and balance it properly.
• Follow delivery schedule and rest as required.
• Record quantities and styles of product delivered/picked up for paperwork.
• Obey traffic laws and adapt to weather/road conditions.
• Provide high standard of customer service during deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

A CDL Hazmat Driver ensures that time sensitive products are delivered on time and in the proper condition. This person will be responsible for loads products onto vans before delivering orders to customers on predetermined routes. Except in the case of extenuating circumstances, drivers will always adhere exactly to the route and deliver each order on time and with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with ICC and FMSCA regulations daily.
• Transport freight from distribution to delivery site without error.
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Completes Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Load and unload freight to and from vehicle using safety perimeters that are put into place.
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
• Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times.
• Responsible for counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up to ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactions.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
• Provide a high standard of customer service while delivering goods to customers.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule:

• Monday: 4:00 AM – Until completion
• Tuesday: 4:00 AM – Until completion
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM – Until completion
• Thursday: 5:00 AM – Until completion
• Friday: Not scheduled
• Saturday: Not scheduled
• Sunday: As needed, based on operational requirements

These hours are subject to change based off business needs. Flexibility in availability is essential, as adjustments may be required to meet operational demands. Further information will be discussed during the interviewing process.

Pay Range:

$24-$28 per hour, with starting pay determined by the candidate’s CDL classification, applicable endorsements, and relevant driving experience.

Requirements

Travel & Work Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Possible exposure to extreme hot and cold weather elements when outside or driving.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Travel up to 20% if needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid DOT medical card.
• Has CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test to meet FMSCA requirements.
• 1 year of delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
• May be required to have an airbrake endorsement depending on geographical locations to meet customer's expectations.

Work Authorization:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the future
