Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse is seeking a CDL A Driver to ensure safe, efficient pickup and delivery while prioritizing customer service. Hours will vary with freight volume and route demands.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving, a valid license, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. All candidates must pass DOT drug/alcohol tests and screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol tests and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Pick up inventory at manufacturer’s site and deliver to hub terminal daily.
• Perform pickup and delivery service on designated assignments.
• Maintain accurate shipment paperwork (pro numbers, bills of lading, etc.).
• Ensure safe handling and movement of loads, including unloading and loading as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
