Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a dedicated CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers, ensuring on-time arrival and proper unloading. You will represent the company and build lasting customer relationships on each route.

The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, safety checks, and accurate documentation. Training starts at $29.00 per hour, with progression to pay per stop and mile as discussed in interviews.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A and clean driving record required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card current or ability to obtain one.
• Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks before trips and follow DOT regulations.
• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on local and OTR routes delivering food and related products.
• Unload deliveries at customer locations and obtain customer signatures.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs of hours of service.
• Secure loads, inspect freight, and report safety issues as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform routine housekeeping around the tractor and loading dock area.
• Complete all assigned duties to serve company needs.
