Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A delivery driver for Perth Amboy, NJ, with routes in the Metro NY area (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn). The role is full-time, home daily, with a 5–6 day schedule including weekends. Compensation includes day rate and per-case pay, plus retention bonuses for eligible hires.

Candidates must have a CDL Class A, minimum six months driving experience (or three in food/bev delivery), and be able to lift 20–80 lbs. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (or three months in food/beverage delivery).
• Must be able to read/communicate in English and follow DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer using pallet jack or by hand and store properly.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections/payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
