HWY Express in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking CDL-A drivers for no-touch dry-van freight with steady weekly miles and regular home time. Earn $1,300–$1,500 weekly across established lanes, with orientation and onboarding paid. Trucks are well-maintained and equipped for long-haul operation.

You will primarily operate Peterbilt 579 or similar models, delivering automotive and consumer goods across western lanes, with 34–48 hour resets every 7–10 days and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 months of driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Must meet all federal and company safety policies.

Western freight movement across established lanes gives CDL-A truck drivers access to steady miles and consistent routing patterns throughout the week. Recurring freight activity helps support dependable mileage and regular earning opportunities.

Compensation

• Earn $1,300 to $1,500 per week with competitive CPM pay and a monthly performance bonus
• All dispatched miles are paid, including loaded miles, empty miles, and bobtail miles when applicable
• Solo drivers typical average 2,500-2,800 miles per week, with opportunities for additional miles depending on freight availability and individual driving preferences

Home Time

Drivers receive a 34-48 hour reset every 7-10 days. This schedule provides regular opportunities for home time while maintaining access to steady freight and weekly mileage opportunities.

Freight

• 100% no-touch dry van freight
• Approximately 70% drop and hook loads
• Average haul length of 500 miles

Freight includes automotive and consumer products moving through established customer networks. Consistent lane activity supports steady freight movement and dependable routing throughout the week.

Equipment

• Drivers primarily operate Peterbilt 579 trucks that are three years old or newer
• Select Freightliner and International equipment is maintained for over-the-road operation
• Trucks are equipped with refrigerators, inverters, automatic transmissions, and Qualcomm communication systems

Orientation

Orientation is held on Mondays and Wednesdays and typically lasts three days. Lunch is provided during orientation, and drivers receive onboarding pay. Travel to orientation is provided.
