CK Transportation in Detroit, MI is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for a regional route. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with a 48-hour weekend reset and home each weekend, delivering dry van freight across MI, OH, PA, NY, NJ and nearby states.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional dry van freight across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and surrounding states.
• Operate primarily no-touch loads with frequent drop-and-hook freight.
• Follow dispatch plans to minimize downtime and maintain on-time deliveries.

Weekly Pay – $1,350 to $1,550

Northeast Regional | Full 48-Hour Weekend Reset

Dry van freight continuity and dispatch consistency give this regional CDL A truck driver position a structured operating pattern throughout the week. Drivers work established regional freight lanes with primarily no-touch loads, organized dispatch transitions, and a Monday through Friday schedule that brings them home every weekend.

Regional Freight

This fleet moves dry van freight throughout Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and surrounding states. Frequent drop-and-hook loads help reduce time spent waiting at customer locations, while repeat freight corridors provide familiarity with common routes and delivery points.

Drivers are not required to unload freight. Dispatch works to coordinate upcoming assignments in advance whenever possible so drivers have better visibility into the next load and can move efficiently between trips.

Pay and Home Time

Drivers earn between $1,350 and $1,550 per week based on miles and performance. Payroll is processed every Friday. A $1,200 minimum weekly pay program is available for qualifying drivers.

The operating schedule is Monday through Friday with a full 48-hour reset at home every weekend. The regional structure is designed around maintaining weekday freight movement while preserving regular weekend home time.

Position Details

• $500 paid during approximately 2.5 days of orientation
• Assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia

Truck Equipment

Freightliner Cascadia tractors are equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Equipment follows a regular preventive maintenance schedule to support day-to-day fleet operations.

CDL A Driver Requirements
