Job summary

Albany Trucking is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for Southwest regional runs out of Albuquerque, NM. Expect 3,000 miles per week with 5–6 nights out and weekly home time.

Drivers haul 100% no-touch general dry freight in sleeper cab tractors, with newer equipment and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K and PTO. Orientation and onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Possess a current DOT medical card.
• Have at least 6 months of regional driving experience within the last year.

Run Southwest regional freight with consistent miles, no-touch dry van loads, and weekly home time.

Drivers average 3,000 miles per week across Southwest regional lanes. Dispatch planning is structured to keep loads moving throughout the week while maintaining the 5–6 night schedule and regular weekly home time.

Position Description:

Pay & Home Time:

Earn $1,600 to $1,900 per week while spending 5–6 nights on the road before returning home each week. The regional schedule combines consistent weekly mileage with regular home time.

Equipment:

Operate newer model sleeper cab tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Equipment is maintained regularly to support dependable operation throughout the Southwest regional lanes.

Mileage:

Average 3,000 miles per week running throughout the Southwest. Regional mileage provides drivers with consistent time on the road while keeping the position on a weekly home-time schedule.

Freight Handling:

CDL-A truck drivers haul 100% no-touch general dry freight. No-touch freight allows drivers to remain focused on driving and completing their assigned regional routes.

Orientation:

Paid orientation lasts 2.5 days. Breakfast and lunch are provided during orientation, and travel expenses are covered as drivers prepare to transition into their assigned equipment and regional schedule.

Equipment Maintenance:

Drive well-maintained equipment while hauling general dry freight throughout the Southwest. Newer model sleeper cab tractors with automatic transmissions provide the equipment setup for the weekly regional operation.

CDL-A Driver Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL
