Valor is seeking CDL A drivers for local intermodal operations based near Elwood, IL. You'll run five days on, two off, and go home daily with shifts assigned by seniority. Earn competitive pay with hourly rate plus CPM and expect about $1,704 per week ($88K+ per year) depending on the schedule.

Roles require one year of verifiable Class A experience, clean driving record within past 3–5 years, and living within 50 miles of ZIP 60421. Transportation to the facility is required.

Qualifications

• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years or 3 in last 5 years.
• Must live within 50 miles of ZIP 60421 (Elwood Terminal).
• Shifts assigned by seniority; home daily.
• No DUI in past ten years.

Responsibilities

• Drive local intermodal with five days on and two off, and be home daily.
• Adhere to safety, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with terminal operations and scheduling.

Class A Drivers run locally with two full days off and get home every day. If you have ever wanted to make great money with great benefits, that get home daily this is the job for you. Shifts are determined by seniority so new drivers must be open to available schedules. Drivers averages annual pay for this position is $88K+/Yr (average is $1704/W) but this could vary depending on the shift you work.

All drivers have an hourly rate and a CPM with the hourly rate changing depending on if your workdays during the week, nights and weekends. The average pay for all drivers is $1704/WK which is $88K+/YR

There are all shifts available, but drivers get to pick their shift based on seniority so drivers should be flexible on schedule

Drivers local intermodal and will get home every day. Drivers work five days on and have two off and drivers will at times run their entire clock.

Drivers MUST live within 50 miles of the Elwood Terminal at zip code 60421 (will not take even a quarter of a mile outside). Trucks stay at facility so drivers must have transportation to and from the facility.

Requirements

• Drivers must have at least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years or two years in the last five years.
• Drivers may not have had more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years or 3 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• May only have one of these in the last three years
• 15+, Reckless or careless, improper or erratic lane change, following too closely, Failure to stop and any conviction using a handheld device.
• No 25+ in the last 3 years
• PLEASE NOTE WARNINGS ARE NOT CONVICTIONS
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years except DOT Preventable
• No DOT Preventable Accidents in the last 5 years
• No more than 6 DOT Employers in the last year
• Will accept SAP Drivers if the infraction is over 10 years old. No DUI in any vehicle in the past ten years
