Job summary

Valor is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a dedicated home weekly route. The role involves delivering to stores across CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, NY and VT with a newer Mack fleet. Eligible drivers have 6 months to 1 year of recent Class A experience and must pass a urine drug test, with comprehensive benefits starting after hire.

You will work either Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat, enjoy 48 hours at home, and earn a weekly pay of $1,700–$2,100+ plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last year or 1 year in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last three years.
• No DOT preventable accidents in the last year; two in the last three years.
• No felonies in the last 10 years, no misdemeanors in the last five years, and no DUIs in the last five years.
• Must pass a urine drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver store deliveries in CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, NY and VT.
• Operate Mack trucks; drivers do not merchandize or inventory.

Types of Jobs: Dedicated Account

Class A Drivers with 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last year or one full year of verifiable Class A experience in the last 3 years to run a brand new dedicated account. Drivers run 5 days and are off 2 full days with at least one of those days falling on a weekend. Drivers will make $1700 to $2100+/WK, get full benefits on the first of the month after you are hired and a $10K Sign on. Drivers will make store deliveries in CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, NY and VT

Drivers are paid $1.24CPM, $.06/Carton unloaded $35/Stop with a $75 bonus with delivery into NYC. Drivers place boxes on roller conveyor belt that goes into the store where store personnel complete the delivery. Drivers do NOT do merchandising or inventory.

For limited time drivers are paid a $10K sign on bonus paid within the first several months

Drivers receive full benefits starting on the first of the month after starting and including medical, PTO, 401K and more

Drivers schedule will run either M-F or T-Sat with 48 hours at home

Trucks are Mack trucks are newer models but not brand new trucks. To start trucks must be parked at the yard in Windsor

Benefits start on the first of the month after you are hired. So, if you are hired May 25 your insurance starts June 1st.

Drivers must have either 6 months of recent Class A experience or 1 year of Class A in the last 3 years.
