Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in the Antelope Valley region is hiring CDL A truck drivers for short western runs that bring you home every two weeks. Paid training starts from day one with an experienced trainer handling real loads.

Expect weekly gross between $1,000 and $1,300, plus $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay for the first 3 months after first solo dispatch, with performance bonus and stop pay. Benefits kick in at 30 days; 401k, PTO, orientation pay, and rider/pet policies enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and age 21 or older.
• Proof of 120+ CDL school hours for new drivers.
• OTR experience required: 6 months in last 12 months or 12+ months in 5 years.
• Two moving violations or fewer in 2 years; no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• DUI/DWI history clean for 5–10 years depending on CDL date.
• Must pass DOT drug testing and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate short western runs usually no more than 2 days from home.
• Return home to Antelope Valley every 2 weeks.
• Train with an experienced driver on loads and routes.
