Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking CDL drivers for Midwest runs from the Indianapolis area. You’ll operate freight with drop-and-hook, live and preload loads, typically about 1,900 miles weekly, and come home on weekends.

During training you’re paid weekly with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months solo, then $1,000 to $1,700 weekly once solo. Benefits after 30 days are included.

Qualifications

• CDL required for operation in Indiana/Midwest region.
• 120+ hours of CDL school or 6 months of recent trucking experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Midwest freight with drop-and-hook, live loads and preloads.
• Plan and follow loads with day and night dispatch; roughly 1,900 miles per week.
• Return home on weekends and maintain consistent weekly earnings during training and after solo.

This seat is built for drivers who want a paycheck and a weekend. You run the Midwest out of the Indianapolis area and come home when the week is done.

What you earn

• Paid every week during training
• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo
• $1,000 to $1,700 a week once solo
• 1,600 to 2,000 miles a week; drivers average about 1,900
• $15 per stop except the first and last
• Weekly direct deposit

Your week

Midwest freight with drop and hook, live loads and preloads. Planned loads, day and night dispatch, about 1,900 miles a week. Home on weekends.

New CDL? Here is the path

• Call: we check your license and record with you first. No surprises later.
• Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, bus fare reimbursed, $300 once hired.
• Training: 4 to 6 weeks one-on-one with a mentor, paid every week.
• Solo: your own assigned truck, fleet average about 1.5 years old. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.

Nervous about your first driving job? Fair.

• "How often will I see home?" Weekends.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
• "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.

What you need

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older
• New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen
