Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC in Asheville, NC is seeking a Driver. Under supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, connect/disconnect hoses and cables, and log daily tickets.

Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and clear communication with the transportation team. You will operate trucks on company property, load/unload with hydraulic lifts, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and keep daily logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred
• 1 year of driving experience, training, or a combination
• Class A license preferred
• Must be able to operate Manual Transmission Vehicles

Responsibilities

• Inspects truck via pre-trip and post-trip checks and maintains tires, lights, brakes, oil and water
• Drives truck to destinations on company property
• Loads and unloads using hydraulic lifts and keeps work areas tidy
• Writes up work orders to maintain/repair vehicles
• Uses radio to communicate with drivers and personnel
• Maintains daily logs and team safety practices
• Pick up fallen debris on transportation lanes or notify supervisor
• Comply with all safety policies and PPE requirements
