Job summary

Denver Cargo is seeking OTR CDL-A drivers for dry van loads, both solo and team. Drivers earn a flat rate plus CPM with weekly pay and bonuses for clean inspections. Trucks include 2022+ Freightliner and Volvo models.

Expect extended out-of-home schedules (4 weeks out, 7 days home) and a 1099 contractor arrangement. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of CDL-A experience and offers consistent miles with newer equipment.

Qualifications

CDL-A license required and able to operate over-the-road routes.
Experience driving long-haul (OTR) is preferred.
Team driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate 53’ dry van trailers on OTR routes.
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Stay out 4 weeks at a time, with 7 days home between trips.
Ensure clean inspections to qualify for bonus payouts.

OTR CDL-A Drivers Needed - Dry Van (Solo & Team)

Pay Structure

Solo drivers earn a $1,800 flat rate for up to 3,000 miles, with $0.60 CPM paid on every mile over that.
Team drivers also earn a $1,800 flat rate covering up to 5,500 miles, plus $0.70 CPM for additional miles.
Most solo drivers average 3,000–3,200 miles per week, while teams typically run 5,000–6,000 miles.
The pay week runs Monday through Sunday, and payday is Friday. This is a 1099 position, with no escrow, and bonuses are paid for clean inspections.

Drivers operate 2022 and newer Freightliner and Volvo trucks, governed at 70 MPH and equipped with fridge, microwave, and inverter.
