Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to join our team in the United States. After completing the CDL training program, you can expect an average compensation of about $85,000 per year. A CDL Class A license and prior driving experience are required.

Responsibilities include completing driver training, adhering to safety and DOT regulations, loading/unloading with animal welfare as a priority, and reporting incidents. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current Class A CDL.
• Previous driving experience required.
• At least 21 years old.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card upon hire.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays).

Responsabilidades

• Complete a driver training program.
• Drive safely while delivering feed or loading/unloading with animal welfare as a priority.
• Comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Report all accidents promptly to authorities.
• Comply with receiving agent rules.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
