Performance Foodservice is hiring for an entry level Driver Trainee/ Dock to Driver Training role in Indiana. You will learn to operate tractors/trailers and deliver to customers across intrastate routes, with safety and DOT compliance at the core.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL A is required.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years, pass drug test, and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or attainable.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries as required.
• Perform safety inspections and report issues per DOT rules.
• Deliver and unload customer orders on schedule and verify invoices.
• Ensure secure loading, proper paperwork, and signatures from customers.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and keep the work area clean.
