Job summary

MedTrans, Medline's fleet of professional drivers, delivers lifesaving medical products to customers via 2,100+ trucks and 50 distribution centers nationwide. The Driver operates a Class A vehicle on local routes, building strong customer relationships and ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

You will load, secure, and deliver product, perform safety checks, and maintain logs in compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience Class A CDL.
• Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Meet Federal and State requirements for operation of CMVs.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers and provide documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust route or schedule to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with regulations and policy.
• Perform vehicle inspection to ensure safe operation and fuel levels.

Job Summary MedTrans is Medline's fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States. The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life‑saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $22.00 - $32.00 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
