Job summary

BakeMark in Sacramento, CA is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle, deliver products to customer locations, and maintain accurate logs and delivery receipts.

You will verify invoices, collect payments when required, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and uphold DOT regulations while delivering excellent customer service and representing BakeMark professionally.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company and DOT requirements.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, drug screening, and background check.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and professionalism.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle and transport products to assigned destinations.
• Verify delivered products against invoices and document discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain delivery receipts and related documentation.
• Collect customer payments when required and per invoice instructions.
• Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations.
• Communicate routes, deliveries, and issues with Branch Management.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate warehouse/delivery equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned equipment.
