Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd in Greenville, SC, seeks a CDL driver to join our distribution team. You will deliver orders, ensure accuracy and on-time performance while upholding safety standards and DOT compliance.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with competitive pay and benefits including group insurance and retirement plans. You will represent Richelieu professionally with customers at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to meet timeframes and customers’ needs.
• Prepare truck for operation by loading the product, securing items and verifying shipping papers.
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. for safe operation.
• Maintain communication with company during deliveries.
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives.
• Maintain truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes.
• Work with distribution team to insure complete, accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Represent the company in a professional, safe, and cost-effective manner.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all DOT and other applicable regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints per policy.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties.
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
