Job summary

NIS Express in Kankakee, IL is seeking CDL-A drivers for a Midwest regional fleet that runs Monday to Saturday and returns home each weekend. You’ll train with an experienced driver and begin on paid loads, with weekly pay during training and a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months solo.

Expect dry van freight across IL, IN, OH, MI, KY with 1,600–2,000 miles weekly. Drop/hook, live loads and unloads are involved, with home weekends and orientation pay benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL-A in hand with 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Paid training with a driver trainer and weekly pay while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Skip training and go straight to your own truck.

Responsibilities

• Dry van freight across IL, IN, OH, MI, KY.
• 1,600–2,000 miles per week.
• Home every weekend.
• Drop and hook, live loads/unloads, and preloads.
