Job summary

Richelieu Distribution Center in Reading, PA is seeking a CDL-A/B Driver to join our logistics team. The role emphasizes safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries to Richelieu customers while complying with DOT regulations.

You will load and unload, inspect trucks, maintain delivery records, and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure customer satisfaction. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required; we offer competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a daytime Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered within time frames.
• Prepare truck for operation by loading products, securing items, and verifying shipping papers.
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. for safe performance.
• Maintain communication with company during deliveries for updated instructions.
• Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders as directed and report discrepancies.
• Maintain truck maintenance and driving records in compliance with safety regulations.
• Work with team members to ensure complete, accurate, on-time deliveries to customers.

Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a CDL-A or CDL-B Driver to join our team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

This person will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and work with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries to Richelieu’s customers. The Delivery Driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs
• Prepare truck for operation by loading the product, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers
• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
• Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies
• Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
• Work with other distribution team members to insure complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers
• Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all DOT and other applicable regulations
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints per company policy; communicate information back to company
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
• Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
