Job summary

Contract Lumber, Inc. in Clinton, South Carolina, is seeking a CDL-A truck driver for local runs. You will load, secure, and deliver material, inspect vehicles per DOT requirements, and maintain paperwork in a fast-paced lumber/building environment.

The position is Monday–Friday, 1st shift (Flexible), with overtime when needed. Home every night, full benefits and 401(k) plans are offered to full-time staff. CDL-A license and ability to lift up to 80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Inspections of delivery vehicles, per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Ensure all loads are safely secured before leaving yard and/or job site.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers.
