Job summary

DSV in Itasca, IL is hiring CDL-A Drivers to travel nationwide, delivering and installing high-value data center equipment with white-glove service. You will operate a Class A truck, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with customers to ensure safe, precise installation.

Assignments are typically 1–2 weeks, with lodging provided and travel pay. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires, and the role requires adherence to DOT/FMCSA rules and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of verified commercial driving experience within the past four (4) years; three (3) or more years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DSV Class A commercial motor vehicles and transport high-value data racks, servers, and other technology equipment in compliance with applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations and DSV safety requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report safety, mechanical, or equipment concerns.
• Perform trip planning and follow designated routes, delivery instructions, security requirements, and customer-specific procedures.
• Inspect freight for visible damage, discrepancies, or other concerns before departure and report issues in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete required transportation, delivery, and compliance documentation, including Proof of Delivery (POD), electronic logs, and shipping documents.
