Black Tie Components, LLC in Hartford, SD, is seeking a Logistics Specialist — Driver to deliver trusses, wall panels, and building materials to customer sites and yards. You will support offloading and ensure on-time, undamaged delivery while upholding safety and professionalism.

This full-time, on-site role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT certification, and 2+ years of experience. Expect local travel, outdoor work, and strong customer interaction as part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service, inspections, and cargo-securement requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in seasonal weather.
• Strong communication and professional attitude with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company trucks and trailers to deliver trusses, wall panels, and building materials.
• Completing DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIRs.
• Verifying load contents against the load list and design package.
• Ensuring loads are properly secured before departure and after stops.
• Operating truck-mounted forklifts or related equipment when required.
• Coordinating offloading with customer-provided equipment when applicable.
• Maintaining delivery documentation and incident reports.
• Communicating delays or issues promptly to the Logistics Supervisor.
