As a professional truck driver with Smithfield Foods, you are assigned late model Freightliner tractors to pull 53' reefer trailers and are dispatched to our plants, company distribution centers, and customer distribution centers. Safe driving, customer service, and effective decision making is the key to success in this position.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 4am - 4pm shift, with option to voluntarily work 6th day if HOS eligible Home daily schedule
Mileage: 1,800-2,000 miles per week
Loads: 10+ weekly, No touch freight-mixture of drop/hook and live load/unload
Hours: Shift up to 12hrs/day Slip-seating: Required/Day Cabs Shifts: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Detention Pay: $25hr after 2 hours Route: All routes operate within a 300-mile radius Full serviced leased equipment Option to enroll in our 401K plan Medical, Dental, Prescription and Vision Benefits offered Paid Days Off
