Job summary

Adams Warehouse and Delivery in Houston seeks a full-time CDL A Truck Driver for on-site operations across the Greater Houston area. You will transport freight between warehouses, client locations, and distribution centers while complying with DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading freight, and maintaining delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Demonstrated skills in safe truck operation, route navigation, and adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Experience with freight handling, vehicle inspections, and basic truck maintenance checks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for interaction with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Houston area, including local and regional driving as required.
• Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow delivery schedules and company procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and secure freight using appropriate equipment and safety practices.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or delivery operations is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
