Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and medical certification.
• Possess or obtain a valid TWC card.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety, weights, load distribution, and securement.
• Ability to complete physical loading and equipment-handling tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned commercial vehicles for deliveries, pickups, and branch transfers.
• Review routes, customer instructions, equipment, and shipping documents before departure.
• Communicate delays, site concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
• Determine safe load placement and use required straps, chains, binders, and securement methods.
• Inspect securement during transit and before unloading.
• Assist with loading, unloading, pumps, hoses, and forklifts when trained and assigned.
