Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers and support trench safety needs. You will be a company ambassador, home nightly, and provide exceptional service while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will operate trucks and cranes, log drives, and help customers select the right equipment, contributing to our growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers per CDL-A.
• Maintain drivers' logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Adhere to safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Other duties as needed.
