Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking a CDL-A driver for a home-weekly dedicated regional account based near Joliet, IL. You will run consistent freight and bring your assigned truck home.

Pay includes $0.82–$0.88 per mile plus $340 per trailer unload; average weekly gross of $1,750–$1,950, plus a monthly safe-driver bonus of $0.03 CPM. Medical, dental, and life insurance start after 60 days, with PTO and additional benefits available.

Qualifications

• 6+ months verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 24 months.
• No more than 2 Class A driving jobs in the last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months and no more than 3 in the last 3 years, none major.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years with no injury and no rollover; age criteria may apply.
• Cannot have been terminated from the last two jobs; terminations involving stolen goods are ineligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A vehicle safely and legally.
• Deliver freight to assigned stores within the regional route.
• Maintain logs and comply with company policies and safety standards.

Job Type: Driving

• Deliveries to stores across IA, WI, MN, IN, N. KY, and MI
• Trailers preloaded, driver unloads boxes onto conveyor belt (store personnel handle inventory placement from there)

Qualifications

• Must live within 100 miles of Joliet
• 6+ months verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 24 months
• No more than 2 Class A driving jobs in the last year
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months and no more than 3 in the last 3 years, none major (careless, inattentive, reckless, etc.)
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years with no injury and no rollover; any such accident must be 5+ years old
• Cannot have been terminated from your last two jobs, and terminations involving stolen goods are ineligible; all other terminations reviewed individually
