United Rentals in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers and represent the company with safety and courtesy. You will operate trucks and trailers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service to clients in a local setting.

This role is Safety Sensitive and offers opportunities to advance while maintaining strong customer relationships. Home nightly, with competitive benefits and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A requirements.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
